In practical terms, what should you do if you are a business that generates packaging waste?
Sort
Sort your packaging by material (cardboard, plastic, metal, glass, wood, etc.) and have it collected separately from your other waste.
Recycle or Reuse
Direct your waste to a recycling program. Incineration or landfilling are permitted only as a last resort.
Track Your Workflows
Keep your pickup slips and recycling certificates. Asa member who owns waste, report your waste streams directly on MyLéko, our dedicated platform.
Comply with quality standards
Waste delivered to the collector must meet Léko Pro’s requirements: containers must be emptied, waste streams must be homogeneous, and there must be no unwanted materials.
Managing Hazardous Packaging
Chemicals, pesticides, and oils: These materials are subject to specific regulations (approved supply chains, Trackdéchets, ADR regulations).
Promote Reuse
Incorporate reusable packaging into your logistics operations and put pallets, bins, drums, and crates back into circulation with the help of a dedicated reuse operator.
